Roger Solomons is BOSA’s Cape Town Mayoral Candidate and National Spokesperson, with more than a decade of experience in government, political strategy, communications and civic engagement. As the party’s former Head of Elections, he played a key role in shaping BOSA’s national strategy and advancing its vision of ethical, accountable and effective leadership.
His experience in national and local government has built strong expertise in governance, stakeholder engagement and coalition building. Roger is committed to practical solutions that strengthen local government, improve service delivery and create a safer, more affordable and inclusive Cape Town.

Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster is a Member of Parliament, Co-Founder and Deputy Leader of BOSA, with more than two decades of experience across business, economic development, civil society and public service. As an entrepreneur and institution builder, she has dedicated her career to strengthening governance, advancing economic inclusion and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.
She founded the South African Women’s Commission and is widely recognised for championing women’s leadership, entrepreneurship and ethical governance. Guided by a vision of capable institutions and inclusive economic transformation, Nobuntu is committed to better services, stronger systems and building Johannesburg into a safe, accountable and prosperous city of possibility.

Her career has focused on identifying potential, creating opportunities and providing the structure and support people need to turn their talent into sustainable progress.
As BOSA’s Tshwane Mayoral Candidate, Martha is committed to stable and accountable leadership, a municipality that listens to residents and a government that gets the basics right. Her priorities include reliable municipal services, stronger accountability, support for local businesses and SMMEs, improved community safety and a responsive government that is present in the communities it serves.

Inspired by the legacy of his late mother, legendary actress Connie Chiume, he remains committed to championing creativity, preserving South Africa’s cultural heritage and empowering future generations.
