Human Rights Day: BOSA to announce legal action to secure access to water for vulnerable South Africans

This year Build One South Africa (BOSA) is dedicating Human Rights Day to highlight and defend a critical socio-economic right enshrined in our Constitution—the right to sufficient water.

Ahead of Human Rights Day on Friday 21 March 2025, BOSA will tomorrow Thursday 20 March 2025, hold a press briefing to announce the party’s legal action seeking to compel the Government of National Unity (GNU) to provide water to South Africa’s most vulnerable citizens and institutions.

Across the nation, countless citizens are grappling with water shortages and supply interruptions, and our legal action intends to solve for this.

The announcement will be made by BOSA Deputy Leader, Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster MP, who will be joined by BOSA Gauteng Legislature Member, Ayanda Allie MPL, BOSA Board Chair, Stevens Mokgalapa, and acting National Spokesperson, Roger Solomons.
