Tomorrow, Wednesday 26 February 2025, Build One South Africa (BOSA) will protest alongside a number of political and community organisations outside the Western Cape Premier’s State of the Province Address (SOPA) in Beaufort West.
The protest is an ardent call for an immediate end to the cutting of teacher posts and for greater budget allocation toward hiring educators in the province.
These cuts directly threaten the future of our young people by increasing classroom sizes and reducing the quality of education. Premier Alan Winde’s administration must prioritise investment in teachers rather than undermining the very foundation of our education system.
